उभौ योग्यावहं मन्ये रक्षितुं पृथिवीमिमाम्।ससागरवनां कृत्स्नां विन्ध्यमेरुविभूषिताम्।।

Transliteration

ubhau yogyāv ahaṃ manye rakṣituṃ pṛthivīm imām |

sa-sāgara-vanāṃ kṛtsnāṃ vindhya-meru-vibhūṣitām || 4.3.15 ||

Translation

మీరిద్దరూ ఈ సమస్త భూమిని రక్షించుటకు యోగ్యులని నేను భావిస్తున్నాను—సముద్రాలు, వనాలు కలిగిన ఈ కృత్స్న భూమిని, విన్ధ్య-మేరు వంటి పర్వతాలు అలంకరించినదాన్ని।
