शोच्या शोचसि कं शोच्यं दीनं दीनाऽनुकम्पसे।कस्य कोवाऽनुशोच्योऽस्ति देहेऽस्मिन् बुद्बुदोपमे।।

Transliteration

śocyā śocasi kaṃ śocyaṃ dīnaṃ dīnā ’nukampase | kasya ko vā ’nuśocyo ’sti dehe ’smin budbudopame ||

Translation

నీవు స్వయంగా కరుణకు పాత్రవై ఉండి ఎవరి కోసం శోకిస్తున్నావు? ఏ దీనుని దీనుడని అనుకంపిస్తున్నావు? బుడగవలె క్షణభంగురమైన ఈ దేహంలో ఎవరు ఎవరికీ చెందారు, శోకించదగినవాడు ఎవరు?
