Entry toward Viśālā and the Indra–Kṣīrodamathana Legend
उत्तरं तीरमासाद्य सम्पूज्यर्षिगणं तदा।गङ्गाकूले निविष्टास्ते विशालां ददृशु: पुरीम्।।।।
uttaraṁ tīram āsādya sampūjya ṛṣi-gaṇaṁ tadā | gaṅgā-kūle niviṣṭās te viśālāṁ dadṛśuḥ purīm ||1.45.9||
ఉత్తర తీరాన్ని చేరి, అప్పుడు అక్కడ కూడిన ఋషిగణాన్ని యథావిధిగా పూజించి, గంగాతీరంలో నివసిస్తూ వారు విశాలా నగరాన్ని దర్శించారు॥
Having reached the northern bank, they paid homage to the sages encamped on the bank of Ganga and beheld the city of Vishala.
Dharma is expressed as reverence (pūjā) toward sages and disciplined conduct during travel—honoring spiritual elders before proceeding further.
After crossing the Gaṅgā, the party arrives at the northern shore, pays respects to sages, camps on the riverbank, and sees the city of Viśālā.
