Transliteration

ekaḥ kasyāḥ suto brahman kā bahūn janayiṣyati | śrotum icchāvahe brahman satyam astu vacas tava || 1.38.10 ||

Translation

హే బ్రహ్మన్! ఎవరికీ ఒక్క కుమారుడు కలుగును, ఎవరు అనేకులను ప్రసవించును? హే బ్రహ్మర్షీ! మేమిద్దరం వినదలచుకున్నాము; మీ వచనం సత్యమగుగాక॥
