भगवन् कोऽन्वयं देशस्समृद्धवनशोभित:।श्रोतुमिच्छामि भद्रं ते वक्तुमर्हसि तत्त्वत:।।1.31.23।।
bhagavan ko ’nvayaṃ deśaḥ samṛddha-vana-śobhitaḥ | śrotum icchāmi bhadraṃ te vaktum arhasi tattvataḥ || 1.31.23 ||
హే భగవన్! సమృద్ధమైన వనశోభతో విరాజిల్లే ఈ దేశానికి ఏ వంశాన్వయం, ఏ మహత్త్వం ఉంది? నేను వినదలచుకున్నాను; మీకు మంగళం కలుగుగాక—దయచేసి దీనిని తత్త్వతః సంపూర్ణంగా చెప్పవలెను।
