उदङ्मुखः प्रेक्षमाणो ददर्श महतीं चमूम्।रथाश्वगजसम्बाधां यत्तैर्युक्तां पदातिभिः।।2.96.12।।

Transliteration

udaṅmukhaḥ prekṣamāṇo dadarśa mahatīṃ camūm |

rathāśvagajasambādhāṃ yattair yuktāṃ padātibhiḥ ||2.96.12||

Translation

ఉత్తరాభిముఖంగా జాగ్రత్తగా చూస్తూ అతడు ఒక మహాసేనను చూశాడు—రథాలు, అశ్వాలు, గజాలతో కిక్కిరిసినదిగా, సుసన్నద్ధమైన పదాతి యోధులతో కూడినదిగా.
