भरद्वाजाश्रमात् चित्रकूटमार्गनिर्देशः

विविधान्यपि यानानि महन्ति च लघूनि च। प्रययु स्सुमहार्हाणि पादै रेव पदातयः।।2.92.34।।
vividhāny api yānāni mahānti ca laghūni ca | prayayuḥ su-mahārhāṇi pādair eva padātayaḥ || 2.92.34 ||
వివిధ రకాల అత్యంత విలువైన వాహనాలు—పెద్దవీ చిన్నవీ—ముందుకు సాగెను; పదాతులు మాత్రం తమ పాదాలమీదనే నడుచుచు బయలుదేరిరి।
