samīpastham uvācedaṁ sumantraṁ mantra-kovidam ||
ఇట్లు పలికి ధర్మాత్ముడు, భ్రాతృవత్సలుడు భరతుడు సమీపమున నిలిచిన మంత్రనిపుణుడు సుమంత్రునితో ఇలా పలికెను।
