Sumitra’s Consolation to Kausalya
pṛthivyā saha vaidehyā śriyā ca puruṣarṣabhaḥ | kṣipraṃ tisṛbhir etābhiḥ saha rāmo 'bhiṣekṣyate ||
Rama, the best among men, will soon be coronated with these three namely the earth, the goddess of fortune and Sita.
Dharma upholds rightful order: Rama’s kingship is presented as inevitable and aligned with cosmic and social harmony (earth and fortune naturally accompany a righteous ruler).
A consoling voice reassures Kausalya that exile is temporary and that Rama will soon attain coronation with auspicious supports.
Rama’s worthiness for rajadharma—his fitness to rule is so complete that prosperity and legitimacy are depicted as naturally joining him.
