सा हि राज्यमिदं प्राप्य नृपस्याश्वपते स्सुता।दुःखितानां सपत्नीनां न करिष्यति शोभनम्।।।।
sā hi rājyam idaṃ prāpya nṛpasyāśvapateḥ sutā |
duḥkhitānāṃ sapatnīnāṃ na kariṣyati śobhanam || 2.31.13 ||
నృపుడు అశ్వపతికి కుమార్తె అయిన ఆమె ఈ రాజ్యాన్ని పొందిన వెంటనే, దుఃఖితులైన సహపత్నుల పట్ల ఏ శుభకార్యమూ చేయదు।
