एवमुक्ता तु रामेण बाष्पपर्याकुलेक्षणा।कौशल्या पुत्रशोकार्ता रामं वचनमब्रवीत्।।2.24.31।।
evam uktā tu rāmeṇa bāṣpaparyākulekṣaṇā |
auśalyā putraśokārtā rāmaṃ vacanam abravīt || 2.24.31 ||
రాముడు ఇలా పలికినప్పుడు, కన్నీళ్లతో నిండిన కళ్లతో, కుమారశోకంతో బాధపడుతున్న కౌశల్య రామునితో ఈ వాక్యములు పలికింది.
