Kaikeyī Discloses the Boons: Exile to Daṇḍaka and Bharata’s Consecration

प्रियं त्वामप्रियं वक्तुं वाणी नास्योपवर्तते।तदवश्यं त्वया कार्यं यदनेनाश्रुतं मम।।।।

priyaṃ tvām apriyaṃ vaktuṃ vāṇī nāsyopavartate | tad avaśyaṃ tvayā kāryaṃ yad anenāśrutaṃ mama ||

నీవు ఆయనకు అత్యంత ప్రియుడవు; అందువల్ల నీకు అప్రీతికరమైన మాట చెప్పడానికి ఆయన వాక్కు ముందుకు రావడం లేదు. కాబట్టి ఆయన నాకు ఇచ్చిన వాగ్దానాన్ని నీవు తప్పక నెరవేర్చాలి.
