शरीरो मानसो वापि कच्चिदेनं न बाधते।सन्तापोवाऽभितापो वा दुर्लभं हि सदा सुखम्।।।।
śarīro mānaso vāpi kaccid enaṃ na bādhate | santāpo vā 'bhitāpo vā durlabhaṃ hi sadā sukham ||
ఆయనను శరీర సంబంధమైన ఏదైనా వ్యాధి బాధిస్తున్నదా, లేక మనస్సుకు సంబంధించిన వేదనా—ఏదైనా సంతాపమో తీవ్రమైన దుఃఖమో? ఎందుకంటే నిత్యసుఖం నిజంగా దుర్లభం।
Is he suffering from any physical ailment or mental agony? It is affliction of either the body or the mind. (For) perpetual happiness is indeed rare.
