इदानीं तत्तपति मां यन्मया सुकृतं त्वयि।।।।अपथ्यव्यञ्जनोपेतं भुक्तमन्नमिवातुरम्।

idānīṃ tat tapati māṃ yan mayā sukṛtaṃ tvayi,

apathya-vyañjanopetaṃ bhuktam annam ivāturam.

ఇప్పుడు నేను నీపై చేసిన ఆ ఉపకారమే నన్ను దహిస్తోంది—రోగి అపథ్యమైన వంటకంతో కూడిన అన్నం తిని, తరువాత అది బాధించునట్లు।
