tataḥ śrutvā mahārājaḥ kaikeyyā dāruṇaṃ vacaḥ | cintām abhisamāpede muhūrtaṃ pratatāpa ca ||

Translation

అప్పుడు కైకేయి పలికిన దారుణ వాక్యాలు విని మహారాజు గాఢమైన చింతలో మునిగిపోయి, కొంతసేపు తీవ్రమైన వేదనతో దగ్ధుడయ్యాడు.
