लोकसमुत्पत्ति-वर्णनम् तथा इक्ष्वाकुवंश-प्रशंसा
Cosmogony and Ikshvaku Genealogy as Counsel to Rama
पुत्रस्ते भविता देवि महात्मा लोकविश्रुतः।।।।धार्मिकश्च सुशीलश्च वंशकर्ताऽरिसूदनः।
putras te bhavitā devi mahātmā loka-viśrutaḥ |
dhārmikaś ca suśīlaś ca vaṁśa-kartā ’ri-sūdanaḥ ||
“హే దేవీ, నీకు ఒక కుమారుడు కలుగును—మహాత్ముడు, లోకవిఖ్యాతుడు; ధార్మికుడు, సుశీలుడు, వంశకర్త, శత్రుసంహారకుడు।”
O queen, you will beget a son who will be magnanimous, virtuous, renowned in the world. He will be the perpetuator of the race and destroyer of enemies.
