कुलीनमकुलीनं वा वीरं पुरुषमानिनम्।चारित्रमेव व्याख्याति शुचिं वा यदि वाऽशुचिम्।।2.109.4।।

Transliteration

kulīnam akulīnaṃ vā vīraṃ puruṣamāninam |

cāritram eva vyākhyāti śuciṃ vā yadi vā'śucim || 2.109.4 ||

Translation

మనిషి కులీనుడైనా అకులీనుడైనా, నిజంగా వీరుడైనా కేవలం పురుషాభిమానమున్నవాడైనా, శుచియైనా అశుచియైనా—ఇవన్నీ అతని చారిత్ర్యమే వెల్లడిస్తుంది।
