तां श्रुत्वा करुणां वाचं पितुर्मरणसंहिताम्।राघवो भरते नोक्तां बभूव गतचेतनः।।।।
tāṃ śrutvā karuṇāṃ vācaṃ pitur maraṇasaṃhitām | rāghavo bharatena uktāṃ babhūva gatacetanaḥ || 2.102.1 ||
భరతుడు పలికిన—తండ్రి మరణంతో అనుసంధానమైన—ఆ కరుణ వాక్యాలను విని రాఘవుడు (రాముడు) స్పృహ కోల్పోయాడు।
