kaccid vṛddhāṃś ca bālāṃś ca vaidyāmukhyāṃś ca rāghava | dānena manasā vācā tribhir etair bubhūṣase ||
హే రాఘవ (భరతా)! దానం, సదభిప్రాయం, మధురవాక్యం—ఈ మూడింటితో—వృద్ధులను, పిల్లలను, వైద్యులలో/విద్వాంసులలో శ్రేష్ఠులను పోషించి రాజ్యక్షేమాన్ని కోరుతున్నావా?
