कच्चिदर्थं विनिश्चित्य लघुमूलं महोदयम्।क्षिप्रमारभसे कर्तुं न दीर्घयसि राघव।।।।

Transliteration

kaccid arthaṃ viniścitya laghumūlaṃ mahodayam | kṣipram ārabhase kartuṃ na dīrghayasi rāghava ||

Translation

హే రాఘవ! స్వల్ప సాధనాలతో సాధ్యమై మహత్తర ఫలమిచ్చే కార్యాన్ని నిర్ణయించిన తరువాత, దానిని నీవు త్వరగా ప్రారంభించి చేయుచున్నావా? అనవసరంగా ఆలస్యం చేయవు కదా?
