I am the loyal wife of venerable Rama who is endowed with all excellences, a refuge to all like a spreading banyan tree, and a votary of truth.
Satya as the backbone of dharma: Sītā highlights Rāma as satyasandha—one whose commitments and identity are anchored in truth.
Continuing her refusal, Sītā describes Rāma’s virtues—especially his truthfulness and protective nature.
Truth-steadfastness and protectiveness: Rāma is portrayed as a moral refuge to others, like a banyan’s shade.
