Concept: Purity is guarded through speech-ethics (no slander/falsehood), vigilance (avoid sleep/laziness), and regulated ritual life (single fire, homelessness, purified dwelling).

Application: Practice ‘speech fasting’ from gossip; keep daily routines alert; simplify possessions; create a small, consistent sacred practice (one ‘fire’/one focus).

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: vira

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A wandering ascetic stands beside a small, carefully tended single fire, his belongings reduced to a water pot and staff. He sprinkles water in a ritual arc over a patch of earth to sanctify it, while shadowy figures representing ‘slander’ and ‘falsehood’ dissolve into the forest gloom behind him.","primary_figures":["wandering ascetic (aniketa)","personified vices (allegorical silhouettes)"],"setting":"forest path with a small fire altar, purified earth patch, minimal possessions","lighting_mood":"temple lamp-lit within forest dusk","color_palette":["ember orange","ash gray","dark forest green","copper brown","ivory"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: central ascetic with kamaṇḍalu sprinkling water around a small single agni, gold leaf highlighting flames and ritual arc; minimalistic iconography with rich border, allegorical dark forms of slander/falsehood fading at the edges, traditional South Indian detailing on staff and vessels.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: a lone traveler-ascetic on a forest trail, delicate depiction of a small fire and water droplets mid-air; cool dusk tones with warm ember glow, refined facial focus and restraint, subtle allegory in faint shadow-figures behind trees.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines, stylized flame motif, the ascetic in ochre with pronounced eyes; water-sprinkling shown as rhythmic white arcs; background in deep greens with symbolic dark shapes for vices being repelled.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central ritual circle around a small flame, floral border with restrained lotus motifs; deep blue ground, gold highlights on fire and water arcs; symmetrical composition emphasizing single-pointed discipline."}
