Praise of Devotion to Viṣṇu

The Supremacy of Hari’s Name over All Tīrthas

tasmādyatnena vai viṣṇuṃ karmayogena mānavaḥ | karmayogārccito viṣṇuḥ prasīdatyeva nānyathā

FAQs

It prescribes karma-yoga—offering one’s actions as worship—as the means by which Viṣṇu is pleased.

It frames disciplined, consecrated action (karma-yoga) itself as a form of worship (arcana), making daily duty a devotional practice.

One should act diligently and responsibly, dedicating the fruits and intention of work to the divine, rather than acting merely for personal gain.
