तस्मात्तस्य वधोपाय उच्यतां तद्विधीयताम् । अथ धाताऽब्रवीद्वाक्यं देवानस्य च नैधनम्

tasmāttasya vadhopāya ucyatāṃ tadvidhīyatām | atha dhātā'bravīdvākyaṃ devānasya ca naidhanam

“కాబట్టి అతని వధకు ఉపాయం చెప్పబడాలి; అది అమలుచేయబడాలి।” అప్పుడు ధాత (బ్రహ్మ) దేవతలకు ఈ కార్యానికి విఫలంకాని వాక్యాన్ని పలికాడు।
