FAQs

It presents a creation-era genealogy: specific divine groups (Marutvats, Vasus, Bhānus, Muhūrtajas) are said to originate from named progenitors, mapping the Purāṇic classification of deities.

The Vasus are a well-known group of eight Vedic/Purāṇic deities associated with elemental and cosmic functions; this verse states they are born from Vasu.

By personifying divisions of time, the text underscores that time and auspicious timing (muhūrta) are sacred cosmic principles—encouraging reverence for dharmic order and disciplined, timely action.
