FAQs

Agni is the carrier of offerings in Vedic ritual, and Soma is the consecrated libation; invoking both reflects the standard sacrificial framework where the offering is made through fire and sanctified as Soma.

The verse presents a ritual-theological inclusivity: alongside Vedic offering language, it authorizes the use of mantras associated with both Viṣṇu and Śiva, reflecting a Hari-Hara concord within a Purāṇic setting.

It emphasizes disciplined sacred speech (vāk), correct ritual intention, and reverence for multiple divine forms—suggesting that spiritual practice is strengthened by purity of utterance and devotional breadth.
