P
Pātāla

FAQs

It treats Pātāla as a distinct “abode” or realm where beings can dwell for a period, reflecting the Purāṇic multi-layered cosmos that includes netherworld regions alongside earthly and heavenly domains.

The phrase “muditena antar-ātmanā” highlights that the characters’ outer situation is accompanied by an inner emotional state—joy or satisfaction—often used to signal readiness for the next decision or doctrinal turn in the narrative.

It underscores deliberation and reassessment: even after reaching a stable condition, wise agents revisit their aims and choices after time has passed, rather than acting only on immediate impulse.
