आथर्वणाश्चोत्तरतः शांतिकं पौष्टिकं तथा । जपेयुर्मनसा देवमाश्रिता वरुणं प्रभुम्

ఉత్తరదిశగా ముఖం చేసి ఆథర్వణ యాజకులు శాంతికరమైన, పౌష్టికమైన మంత్రాలను మనసులోనే జపించాలి; ప్రభువు వరుణదేవుని శరణు పొందాలి।
