Puṣkara Mahatmya: Brahmā’s Lotus-Tīrtha, Sacrifice, Initiation, and Kṣetra-Dharma

वरं वृणीध्वं भद्रं वः पादपानित्युवाच सः । एवमुक्ता भगवता तरवो निरवग्रहाः

varaṃ vṛṇīdhvaṃ bhadraṃ vaḥ pādapānityuvāca saḥ | evamuktā bhagavatā taravo niravagrahāḥ

అతడు వృక్షాలతో—“వరాన్ని కోరుకోండి; మీకు మంగళం కలుగుగాక” అని అన్నాడు. భగవంతుడు ఇలా పలికినప్పుడు ఆ వృక్షాలు ఎలాంటి సంకోచం లేకుండా ప్రత్యుత్తరం చెప్పాయి।
