पुत्रदास्तासु या युग्मा अयुग्माः कन्यकाप्रदाः । त्यक्त्वा चंद्रमसं दुष्टं मघां मूलं विहाय च

ఆ నక్షత్రాలలో యుగ్మ నక్షత్రాలు ‘పుత్రదాయకాలు’ అని చెప్పబడతాయి; అయుగ్మ నక్షత్రాలు కన్యాదానానికి అనర్హమని భావించబడతాయి. అశుభ చంద్రుణ్ణి విడిచి, మఘా మరియు మూల నక్షత్రాలను కూడా వర్జించాలి.
