एवमुक्त्वा महाराज विरराम स चांडजः । एवं पृष्टस्तृतीयेन विज्वलेनात्मजेन सः

evamuktvā mahārāja virarāma sa cāṃḍajaḥ | evaṃ pṛṣṭastṛtīyena vijvalenātmajena saḥ

ఇలా చెప్పి, ఓ మహారాజా, ఆ పక్షి మౌనమయ్యాడు. తరువాత తన మూడవ కుమారుడు విజ్వలుడు ఈ విధంగా ప్రశ్నించగా అతడు మళ్లీ పలికాడు.
