Dharma instructs a “fortunate one” to return home and console his wife Sukalā, who is suffering in his absence.
It emphasizes responsibility toward one’s spouse—emotional care and presence are presented as part of righteous conduct within household life.
It portrays Sukalā as a woman devoted to dharma—upright, faithful, and committed to righteous living—thereby underscoring the duty to support and honor such a partner.
