तामुवाच ततो रंभा कस्माद्देवि न गम्यते । सूत उवाच । सख्या च रंभया सार्द्धं नहुषं वीरलक्षणम्

The verse contains both: Rambhā speaks first (“Then Rambhā said…”), and then the narration switches to Sūta (“Sūta said…”), who continues the story.
Nahuṣa is a famed king in Purāṇic and Itihāsa traditions. Here he is described as vīralakṣaṇa, “marked by heroic qualities,” highlighting his kingly valor and stature within the narrative.
It functions as a transition: Rambhā questions a delay (“why not go?”), and the narrator immediately advances the plot by stating that Rambhā and her companion proceed to (or engage with) Nahuṣa.
