FAQs

It asserts confidence based on three strengths—strategy (upāya), wisdom (sudhī), and effort (udyama)—and adds a numerical advantage over the devas.

Not directly; it reports a claim of advantage (many vs. few) alongside competence and effort. Ethical evaluation depends on the surrounding narrative context of Adhyaya 10.

As a maxim: success is supported by intelligent planning, clear judgment, and sustained effort—while also acknowledging real-world factors like resources and manpower.
