Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that sacred listening (śravaṇa) to Purāṇic scripture at the powerful tīrtha of Gaṅgādvāra, when done with devotion and disciplined observance, becomes a direct means to attain the imperishable spiritual state (avyaya pada).
It emphasizes bhakti expressed through śravaṇa—hearing sacred narratives with reverence—supported by niyama (self-restraint, purity, and regulated conduct), showing devotion as both heartfelt and practice-based.
The verse highlights niyama—rule-based discipline central to ritual conduct (kalpa-oriented practice) and tīrtha observance—indicating that correct regulated practice strengthens the spiritual fruit of scriptural hearing.
