FAQs

It marks a pivotal narrative moment where a divine or extraordinary presence is rendered approachable through “human speech,” signaling that sacred insight often enters the story through direct address and personal calling (nāma-saṃbodhana).

By emphasizing intimate address—calling “Sandhyāvalī” by name—the verse models bhakti’s personal dimension: relationship, recognition, and direct encounter, which later supports tirtha-mahātmya themes of approaching the sacred with attentiveness and reverence.

Vyākaraṇa (grammar) is implicitly reflected in the clarity of direct address (saṃbodhana) and name-usage; it shows how precise speech acts function in sacred narration and ritualized communication.
