Narada (narrating within the Tirtha/Mahatmya context of Uttara-Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It highlights intention in ritual action: an offering made for righteous purpose (a husband’s siddhi) is contrasted with the sudden intrusion of kāma-driven delusion, showing how desire can disrupt dharma-centered acts.
Though not explicitly naming a deity, it reflects a bhakti-aligned virtue: selfless dedication and fidelity in sacred action, while warning that uncontrolled desire (kāma-moha) opposes devotion’s purity and steadiness.
It implicitly points to Kalpa (ritual procedure): the act of “releasing” a radiant offering suggests a formal oblation/rite where correct intent (saṅkalpa) and disciplined conduct are essential for siddhi.
