FAQs

It highlights a dharmic ideal: even when fear arises, wisdom expresses itself as steadiness (dhairya) and measured speech, sustaining right action within household and pilgrimage narratives.

Indirectly, it models the inner discipline that supports bhakti—courage and composure in crisis—so the devotee (or dharmic actor in the story) can continue righteous conduct and remembrance rather than collapse into fear.

No specific Vedanga (śikṣā, vyākaraṇa, jyotiṣa, etc.) is taught in this line; the practical takeaway is ethical psychology—cultivating dhairya (steadfastness) as a support for dharma and vrata observance.
