Suta (narrating Purāṇic account)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames a Purāṇic episode where power gained through conquest is redirected into an offering; the verse highlights the motif of transferring acquired potency (labdha) through intentional gifting (pradadau), which shapes subsequent sacred-history outcomes in the tirtha narrative.
Direct bhakti instruction is not explicit here; however, the narrative underscores that one’s acquisitions are not ends in themselves—offering and right intention govern how power is used, a recurring Purāṇic ethic that supports devotional life through surrender and consecration of gains.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; it functions primarily as itihāsa-style narration within the Uttara-Bhāga’s tirtha-mahātmya framework.
