उत्पन्नाः शूद्रयोना तु भवच्छन्दे सुरोत्तम अन्धं वृद्धं च मां ज्ञात्वा सुदेष्णा महिषी तव प्राहिणोद् अवमानान्मे शूद्रां धात्रेयिकां नृप //
utpannāḥ śūdrayonā tu bhavacchande surottama andhaṃ vṛddhaṃ ca māṃ jñātvā sudeṣṇā mahiṣī tava prāhiṇod avamānānme śūdrāṃ dhātreyikāṃ nṛpa //
హే దేవోత్తమా! మీ ఇష్టప్రకారమే నేను శూద్రయోనిలో జన్మించాను. నేను అంధుడను, వృద్ధుడను అని తెలిసి మీ మహిషి సుదేష్ణా అవమానంతో నా వద్దకు ఒక శూద్ర ధాత్రిని (పాలిచ్చే దాయాదిని) పంపింది, ఓ నృపా.
