*ऋषय ऊचुः कथं सूतात्मजः कर्णः कथमङ्गस्य चात्मजः एतद् इच्छामहे श्रोतुम् अत्यन्तकुशलो ह्य् असि //

Transliteration

*ṛṣaya ūcuḥ kathaṃ sūtātmajaḥ karṇaḥ kathamaṅgasya cātmajaḥ etad icchāmahe śrotum atyantakuśalo hy asi //

Translation

ఋషులు అన్నారు— కర్ణుడు ఎలా సూతపుత్రుడు, అలాగే అంగుని కుమారుడూ ఎలా? ఇది మేము వినదలుచుకున్నాము; నీవు కథనంలో అత్యంత నిపుణుడవు.
