Seeing the Devī as ‘Mother’ in all beings encourages compassion, restraint from harm, and gratitude—ethical conduct arises from recognizing a shared maternal ground of life.
This is stuti within an ākhyāna section, not sarga/pratisarga/manvantara/vaṃśa/vaṃśānucarita. It functions as theological framing for the narrative of restoring cosmic order.
Mātṛ is the generative matrix (yoni-śakti): the power that births, holds, and reclaims forms. Worship here is recognition of the womb-like ground of consciousness supporting all experience.
