उदग्रश्च रणे देव्याः शिलावृक्षादिभिर्हतः ।

दन्तमुष्टितलैश्चैव करालश्च निपातितः ॥

udagraś ca raṇe devyāḥ śilāvṛkṣādibhir hataḥ | dantamuṣṭitalaiś caiva karālaś ca nipātitaḥ ||

ఉదగ్రుడు దేవీ సేనలచే రాళ్లు, చెట్లు మొదలైనవాటితో యుద్ధములో హతుడయ్యెను; అలాగే కరాలుడును పళ్లతో, ముష్టులతో, అరచేతుల దెబ్బలతో పడిపోయెను।
