Myths of transformed forms often communicate that divine relationships and cosmic processes operate through veils (rūpa) and adaptations—suggesting flexibility of manifestation while preserving underlying order.
Vaṃśa/Vaṃśānucarita adjacency: this solar episode typically supports genealogical and mythic backstory connected to solar lineages and divine births, though here it appears as a transition within the ongoing narration.
Horse/mare forms can symbolize prāṇa and solar energy in motion; the ‘northward’ movement can signal ascent or a shift to a different sacred geography within the narrative imagination.
