पक्षिण ऊचुः इति तेषां वचः श्रुत्वा कौशिकोऽतिरुषान्वितः ।

शशाप तान् मनुष्यत्वं सर्वे यूयमवाप्स्यथ ॥

Transliteration

pakṣiṇa ūcuḥ iti teṣāṃ vacaḥ śrutvā kauśiko ’tiruṣānvitaḥ | śaśāpa tān manuṣyatvaṃ sarve yūyam avāpsyatha ||

Translation

పక్షులు అన్నారు: వారి మాటలు విని కౌశికుడు తీవ్రమైన కోపంతో ఆవరించబడి శపించాడు— “మీ అందరికీ మానవత్వం కలుగును.”
