Sanskrit

प्रतिश्रुत्य च दातव्यं योद्धव्यं चाततायिभिः ।

रक्षितव्यास्तथा चार्तास्त्वयैव प्राक् प्रतिश्रुतम् ॥

Transliteration

pratiśrutya ca dātavyaṃ yoddhavyaṃ cātatāyibhiḥ | rakṣitavyās tathā cārtās tvayaiva prāk pratiśrutam ||

Translation

వాగ్దానం చేసిన తరువాత దానాన్ని తప్పక ఇవ్వాలి; హింసాత్మక ఆతతాయులను ఎదుర్కొని యుద్ధం చేయాలి. అలాగే బాధితులను కాపాడాలి— ఇదే నీవు ముందుగా స్వయంగా ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేశావు.
