Adhyaya 63 — The Birth of Svarocis and the Rescue of Manoramā: The Astra-Heart and the Healing of Curses

Sanskrit

मोक्षितोऽसऽहं त्वया शापादतिघोरान्महाद्युते ।

प्रदत्तादतितीव्रेण ब्रह्ममित्रेण धीमता ॥

Transliteration

mokṣitoṣa'haṃ tvayā śāpādatighorānmahādyute | pradattādatitīvreṇa brahmamitreṇa dhīmatā

Translation

‘ఓ మహాతేజస్సుగలవాడా! మీరు నన్ను అత్యంత భయంకరమైన శాపం నుండి విముక్తి చేసారు—ఆ శాపాన్ని జ్ఞానవంతుడైన ముని బ్రహ్మమిత్రుడు ఘోరంగా విధించాడు.’
