Adhyaya 54 — Cosmography of Jambudvipa: Continents, Oceans, Varshas, and Mount Meru
सा परिक्रम्य वै मेरुं जम्बूमूलं पुनर्नदी ।
विशति द्विजशार्दूल पीयमाना जनैश्च तैः ॥
sā parikramya vai meruṁ jambū-mūlaṁ punar nadī | viśati dvijaśārdūla pīyamānā janaiś ca taiḥ ||
ఆ నది మేరుపర్వతాన్ని ప్రదక్షిణ చేసి మళ్లీ జంబూ (వృక్ష) మూలానికి తిరిగి వచ్చి అందులో ప్రవేశిస్తుంది; హే ద్విజవ్యాఘ్రా, అక్కడి భూతజాతులు దానిని పానము చేస్తాయి।
