Adhyaya 54 — Cosmography of Jambudvipa: Continents, Oceans, Varshas, and Mount Meru
तेषां स्त्रावात् प्रभवति ख्याता जम्बूनदीति वै ।
यत्र जाम्बूनदं नाम कनकं सम्प्रजायते ॥
teṣāṁ strāvāt prabhavati khyātā jambū-nadīti vai | yatra jāmbūnadaṁ nāma kanakaṁ samprajāyate ||
ఆ ఫలముల నుండి ప్రవహించే రసమువలన ‘జంబూనది’ అనే ప్రసిద్ధ నది ఉద్భవిస్తుంది; అక్కడ ‘జాంబూనద’ అనే బంగారం ఉత్పత్తి అవుతుంది।
