प्रियव्रतात् प्रजावत्यां वीरात् कन्या व्यजायत ।
कन्या सा तु महाभागा कर्दमस्य प्रजापते ॥
priyavratāt prajāvatyāṃ vīrāt kanyā vyajāyata |
kanyā sā tu mahābhāgā kardamasya prajāpate ||
వీరుడైన ప్రియవ్రతునికి ప్రజావతికి ఒక కుమార్తె జన్మించెను. ఆ పుణ్యశాలిని కుమార్తె ప్రజాపతి కర్దమునితో సంబంధము పొందెను।
